This program is delivered through the Saanich Peninsula Amateur Basketball Association in collaboration with Ethan Boag and Tri-Sphere Training.
Saanich Peninsula Amateur Basketball Association is a not-for-profit organization based on the Saanich Peninsula. We register our teams in Victoria and District Amateur Basketball Association's night league to play games with teams from all over Victoria.
This is a basketball league for boys and girls ages 8 to 17.
The Saanich Peninsula Amateur Basketball season runs from September to March with practices one evening per week at either Bayside Middle School or North Saanich Middle School gyms. Games are played one evening per week in Victoria. In the past, they have been at SJ Willis Education Centre on Topaz Avenue although this past year games have been at many different schools in Victoria. Girls teams have practices on Mondays or Tuesdays with games on Thursdays or Fridays. Boys teams will usually practice Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays with games usually Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesday nights.
This program introduces younger children to the exciting, fast-paced sport of basketball. Sessions will be high energy and aimed at the introduction and development of basic basketball skills with a focus on having fun while learning. Participants will also receive a T-shirt and basketball to keep
